Tyra Banks Turns From Supermodel to a Sexy Tigress For Paper Magazine’s Winter Issue

By  |

You won’t believe what ANTM’s Tyra Banks turned into to break the internet for Paper Magazine’s winter issue. She stars in a wild and sexy spread for the mag where she plays a sexy tigress.

The concept features the America’s Next Top Model creator and host making a jaw-dropping transformation from sexy model in a catsuit to full-on tigress. Her PAPER project isn’t just delivering stunning photos, either. The model and new mommy is also spilling some tea about her long-awaited return to ANTM.

“I stepped away, but social media was calling my name in my sleep, screaming they were pissed off at me that I deserted [the show],” Banks told the mag. “I needed to bring my butt back, so I did.”

Although Tyra had a very good reason to step away from the long-running series (she welcomed her son, York, via surrogate in January 2016), she realized very quickly that to her fans, the Top Model brand just wasn’t the same without her. “One thing I know is from studying business, they say your brand is not what you say it is, it’s what they say it is. I thought Top Model would be fine without me hosting, but the social media sphere let me know that was not the case.”

Tyra Banks is back like she never left! This time, she’s been tapped by the cherished PAPER Magazine to #BreakTheInternet in a wild n’ sexy spread that takes “queen of the jungle” to unseen levels.

The outcry for Tyra’s return to ANTM is echoed by some of her most iconic catchphrases that have since turned into memes. Her unforgettable “Hoe, but make it fashion” saying has been flipped and reversed an unprecedented number of times, while “smize” has made its way into our everyday language. “Sometimes [my phrases] stick and I’m like, ’That was not meant to be.’ ’Hoe, but make it fashion’ was definitely not meant to be.”
