It’s been an eventful year, and we’ve tried to track all the standout looks from every major red carpet event of the year. From the Young Achievers awards, Uganda Entertainment awards, The Uganda Music Awards, Pearl of Africa fashion awards, Kampala fashion week and the Abryanz Style and fashion awards (ASFAs) to the Club Music Video Awards.

Ghanaian star Nana Akua Addo walked the ASFAs red carpet wearing this Alejandro Fajardo gown. The mirror detail on this dress makes us wonder how she sat in it through the event.

 

This is arguably Rema’s best red carpet look ever. The Fatumah Asha fit her right and the minimal accessorising was a genius choice.

Thanks to Fatumah Asha, Hellen Lukoma is one of 2017’s red carpet queens. The tulle detailing of this gown is something akin to royalty.

 

This should be one of the biggest fashion moments of 2017! Her Royal Highness The Nabagereka of Buganda Sylvia Nagginda and KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi was all the elegance that happened at the ASFAs.

 

The internet wasn’t impressed with Flavia Tumusiime’s choice at the ASFAs. We can’t disagree more. The draping on this dress is modern and unexpected. Seeing Priyanka Chopra in a replica of the dress just proved Anita Beryl’s impeccable craftsmanship.
