Juliana, Siima and Ann Kansiime win at Airtel’s Women of substance awards

As part of the women’s day celebrations at Garden City rooftop last weekend, Airtel Uganda recognised and awarded women who have excelled in the fields of entertainment, public sector, sports and health during the past year.

Flavia Lwanga Airtel Uganda’s Human Resource manager while handing over the awards to the winners remarked that the awards were organised to appreciate all the ladies who have worked hard to develop the country.

Leading the winners was Juliana Kanyomozi who wore a cut out dress  while picking her award for Women of substance (music). The ‘Eddiba‘ singer couldn’t leave the stage without belting out a tune not to the over joyed fans she had in the audience. She beat music icon Joanita Kawalya, Cindy and Judith Babirye.

Coca cola Rated Next judge and radio presenter Siima won the media personality award. Ann Kansiime who must be choking on award accolades right now won the arts and culture award. Phionah Mutesi won the sports award.

Other winners included Jennifer Musisi and the Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda who won the public service and women mentor awards respectively.
