Fresh Face: ‘The Icon’ starring Bbosa Moses

Inspired by the power of fashion icons, Bbosa Moses, a budding fashion blogger and stylist, presents his new shoot. Moses, who considers himself a fashion obsessed freak, is just as obsessed with fashion as he’s with the icons in the business. “The power of icons such as Mai Atafo on the industry is just what inspires me,” he enthused. “This fashion industry in Uganda, is a desert of icons but rich in talent, we need to do something about it.”

When asked if he can describe his fashion sense, he pauses for a moment. “That’s hard, because style is all about how you feel, and you can only wear something because of what it makes you feel from inside,” he says. “So, basically I just wear what makes me feel good.”

“I love to mix and match, from high end designers and high street brands such as Zara with anything picked across the street.” “However, with this shoot I kept the styling simple,” he adds.

‘The Icon’ is a photo album of over 50 looks, Moses styled and can  be seen here. It is a celebration of individual style, and life. “It doesn’t  matter what you wear, but how you wear it,” he shares. And, if there’s any fashion tip you can get from him, it is only to embrace your individuality.
