First African Miss World Agbani Darego covers Genevieve Magazine
Former Miss World, Agbani Darego is the cover girl of the September issue of Nigeria’s glamorous magazine Genevieve. The former beauty queen who is famous for her stunning legs covers the iconic issue of the fashion rag clad in a dress by Italian designer Ermanno Scervinno.
She took the world by surprise when she was announced the winner of the Miss World pageant in 2001 a crown that had never been won by an African woman. She’s now a successful model with a resume’ to die for.
Agbani oozes class and brilliance – thanks to that she has had the privilege of being a judge at the Miss World. Our own Stella Nantumbwe left last week for the same pageant. We believe she has what it takes to walk in Agbani’s shoes too.
Genevieve magazine is a Nigerian lifestyle magazine with a huge touch of class. It is the one Nigerian magazine I put on the same table with Harpers Bazaar and Vanity Fair. And it has no connection with super actress Genevieve Nnaji.
Below is the fashion spread of Agbani still dressed by Ermanno Scervinno. Classy indeed. I’m officially jealous.
