Ciara is the new face of Roberto Cavalli

Creative director of Roberto Cavalli, Peter Dundas took to Instagram to announce that Ciara is taking over as the face of their new ‘Ciara for Cavalli’ campaign.

“I am so honored to be the face of the current campaign for Roberto Cavalli,” she said during an interview with Style.com. “I grew up truly admiring the beautiful collections and dreaming of wearing them” she continued.  Ciara follows in fellow artist, Nicki Minaj’s footsteps – Minaj starred in Cavalli’s Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

The accompanying video for the campaign was shot by Francesco Carrozzini and styled by Robert Rabensteiner. The ‘Wild One’ singer, who “embodies beauty with a hint of wildness,” according to Roberto Cavalli himself, poses against a door frame amongst dunes of golden sand in a turquoise room. Ciara looks striking in the fashion houses’ signature bold prints, clean-cut tailored suits, and long flowy gowns in a variety of strong colours.
