Bakri on dressing the president and his new song

‘Bakri Mat one of the youngest singers in town can’t help but keep only designer brands in his wardrobe. In an interview with us, he opened up  on his obsession with Adidas sneakers and Gucci shirts. He said that he just can’t stand wearing clothes that aren’t authentic.

Talking about authentic, his father owns a clothing studio. “My father is a professional tailor and his shop is at Uganda House,” he shared. The two boast of high end clients such as the president, the Kabaka, many MPs and artistes such as Silver Kyagulanyi among others.

His love for fashion might have inspired his new song “Kumutima” which he released last week. He doesn’t rule out the fact that he might take fashion and design to another level.
